Why did I start this blog entry with a qoute? The truth is "wala lang! trip ko lang! haha!". Kidding aside, the qoute made me smile. It re-assures me that no matter what hardships you are going through, your learning from it would certainly bring you closer to happiness. And I want to share this hope with you. Pa good vibes ba, Char! :D
It's raining frequently (not a surprise) and honestly, I have been thinking about my "to-go outfit" this season. These are my concerns.
1. I need a comfortable waterproof shoes. I need a pair of shoes that I can submerge in a knee-deep flood without worrying how to difficult would be to clean it. No to wedges and sneakers for now.
2. Light and warm. No to jeans because it gets baggy and uncomfortable when it became wet or worse, when submerged in flood.
3. Flexible. People often describe Philippine weather as bipolar. A while ago, it rains like it's the end of the earth. Later, the sun reveals itself with it's scorching hot glory. I want an outfit that's could easily adjust to both extremes.
I rarely wear accessory but recently, I became fond of choker because I find it edgy and cute. Here, I just wore the thinnest kind of choker because it fits any outfit. Someone told me how to choose an appropriate choker base on what you wear. I would reserve that in a separate blog. I promise.
For the shoes I wore Easy Soft Waterproof shoes. It's comfortable and lightweight to wear. However, it hurts my heel at the first few times I wore it. It looks like it has a "break in" period wherein the shoes is still not softening up. I had to wear naked socks to keep it for about three times. But after that, especially when it rains, this shoes is WOW! REally comfortable and soft. And of course, easy to clean. Compared to other waterproof shoes that I wore,Easy soft is the best so far. I actually get wounds with other brands of waterproof shoes due to the material.
So there you go! My to-go outfit this rainy season.
