I usually have mid-year anxiety. You know, it kinds of reminds me how time flies so FAST. Just a day ago we were welcoming new year, and now Christmas is around the corner again! But these past few years, my anxiety turns to excitement. Thanks to the consecutive film festivals and other events that I love.
These are the reasons I love attending these film festivals:
*These are for free or tickets sold in lesser prices (around 100-150 pesos only)
* I discover other unfamiliar foreign cultures and lifestyles.
* Great stories. Great films.
*I just love subtitled films.
And here are the upcoming film festivals and some important details.
June 8-14: "21st French Film Festival"
"This year’s edition presents a line-up of 17 French films, released between 2013 and 2016, to be publicly screened in Manila from June 8 to 14 at the Greenbelt 3 Cinemas and the Bonifacio High Street Cinemas. During Independence Day on June 12, the festival renews its tradition of putting the spotlight on Filipino films through the screening of two local films that have been featured at international film festivals in France: Lawrence Fajardo’s Imbisibol and Carl Joseph Papa’s animated film, Manang Biring."
