I am a fanatic of film festivals. Why? You got to see foreign films that are not from Hollywood. Learn more about their culture and languages. And the best thing, they are usually for FREE! Well if not, they costs just around 100 -200 pesos. Here are two film festivals I spotted for this week.

Cute. Relaxing. These were the first words that came to my mind when I passed by this cafe' by chance. It is an inviting place. Isn't it the high ceiling? The well lit interior unlike the usual cafe's? The hipster name? Or is it because it was not crowded when I arrived? (Well Starbucks is always full of people I find it hard to relax there sometimes.) It has this irresistible charm that pulled me in and had me try anything they could offer. (And take unreasonable number of pictures of course!)

I had my first taste on this delicious sandwich when my officemate let me take a bite. And I was instantly blown away. Salty and spicy that compliment perfectly with the crunchy bread. Also, it was rather more tasty and healthier than burgers. I never tasted anything like this before. So I swear I'll buy myself a whole one.

I have Korean food cravings for years. Blame the popularity of Korean dramas. I'm sure fans like me are well acquainted with kimchis, soju, ramyun and bibimbap. Though I have tasted some of them , I can't really say that I've eaten an authentic Korean food. Not until recently a friend took me here at Doniz, her most favorite resto when she used to work around Ermita. Will my Korean cravings be finally satisfied?
